Unlike the mass produced variety of sausage so commonly found in the super market today, we make our pork breakfast sausage by hand, in small batches according to age-old Vermont recipes. Ours are leaner than most too. Dakin Farm pork sausage is made only with the finest, fresh ingredients including our mild breakfast sausage seasoning, extra lean pork and the amazing taste of pure Vermont maple syrup in our big link, smoked, maple sausage. Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
cob smoke flavor is different from normal hickory or apple smoke flavor. I was looking for this but it is different. not as sweet. you can always sprinkle a little maple or brown sugar on the bacon and broil it to get some sweetnessdelivery/packaging was prompt and everything arrived fine
Pretty darn good sausage.

Links have a wonderful flavor, but were a bit dry.Won't stop us from buying them again though.

I personally have never been disappointed with Dakin Farm products. However, when we asked for the Mac and Cheese with bacon, we only got the plain Mac and Cheese. I was disappointed.

Excellent sausages. Great taste, a little sweetness, good texture, not fatty and NOT salty like other brands I've tried. Just heat and eat. Definitely a winner.
