When I moved cross country in the fall, my kitchen items were missing for 2 months -- so I got a raclette grill, and cooked everything I ate on it. These little "snack bars" fit perfectly in the melting trays under the heating element -- and bubbled and browned slightly -- and the fat separates from the cheese so well that it can be drained off, leaving a seriously low-fat, and uber-flavorful cheese to spread on toast. And 1 snack bar is perfect spread on 1 slice of toast, half an Engish muffin, or half a bagel.... The "reduced fat" snack bars don't have the same wonderful toasty texture or flavor -- I've started making these "toasted cheese" snacks for everybody because the flavor is perfect -- top with halved olives or a little of your favorite deli-meat for instant yum!(they're also my favorite snack with crackers)
