The stronger flavor of Grade A Dark Amber also makes it an excellent choice to use as a flavoring for drinks, a glaze or marinade for cooking.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
My husband is from CT and I always order real VT Maple Syrup for him at Christmas. Next year I'll order Grade B for more maple flavor.

I find the product very misleading. I thought I was purchasing syrup with a glass bottle. I was excited to receive the product and at first sight was disappointed. The online picture shows a nice glass bottle, but a ugly tannish plastic bottle presented itself. Suspiciously similar to what is sold at those big warehouse retailers ??? Putting the misadvertising aside, the flavor is pleasant when it blends with pancakes. I am very happy with the flavor.If I wanted to buy large quantities then I would not care if it were glass or not.

I use the syrup every day on my morning cereal.. usually oatmeal or oat bran.. I use it in a really delicious balsamic vinagrette, I do add a little lemon juice to temper the sweetness, but it is so good... I could just eat this syrup itself! (And sometimes I do, with my coffee!)Love it with bacon..
The only syrup we buy!!

This is amazing syrup. I tried it only because I saw it on Only In America with Larry the Cable Guy. I have tired pure maple syrup before but it wasn't as good as some of the imitation stuff I had used. This syrup is far suprerior to any other syrup that I have ever tried. I love waffles and pancakes but usually need a lot of syrup but with this syrup you need very little and have tons of flavor. The first time I tried it, it was so good I had pancakes for breakfast, lunch and with dinner. It is just amazing!
