I used to get this cheese when I lived down the street from a Dakin Farm store, and I am pleased to be able to say, without exaggeration, that it's just as good as I remember it, and is probably one of the best-tasting smoked cheeses I've tried this side of the Atlantic.

We visited Dakin Farm over summer vacation and purchased this cheese. When we got home, we wish we had bought more then. Glad we can order it online.

I am a Vermonter who lives in SC. We used to shop at dakins all the time, but now shop by internet. Same Great Taste and Service! Fast Shipping! When I get homesick for Vermont I order from Dakin and when I open the product it feels like "home" again! The only thing I would ask for is that Dakin start selling the Smoked Cheddar "cheese ends" online, because I miss them so much! (Cheese ends are the sides of the smoked cheese that are full of smokey flavor. They are sliced off the sides of the cheddar blocks. They can be bought in the store, but they don't sell them online :o(. I liked the strong smokey flavor as I would slice or shred them up on salads and in soups. Dakin, if you read this, PLEASE start selling your cheese ends online! Or at least by phone orders. Thanks.
