Crowley Cheese is made the same way today as it was made over 175 years ago when Crowley Cheese was founded. To this day, Crowley Cheese is made in the country’s oldest continuously operating cheese factory and is listed in the National Historic Register. Their cheeses are made in small quantities, slowly, carefully and entirely by hand using fresh and local raw Vermont milk. Crowley Cheese is all natural with no additives or preservatives. What makes Crowley Cheese different than a more traditional Sharp Vermont Cheddar? Well, Crowley’s rinsed curd process and unique recipes result in cheeses that have a high moisture content and are creamy and sweet. They are described as a mix between a cheddar and a Colby, meaning they melt very well and are a delicious addition to recipes.

Muffaletta- A unique recipe made using Manzanilla olives, garlic, and pimento blended into Crowley’s creamy cheese. Careful aging ensures a complex character and defined flavor profile. A 2019 Big E Bronze Award Winner.
