The Vermont Origin Law
|
For more than two generations we’ve been sharing our Vermont taste traditions with people like you all over the country.
Mouthwatering meats smoked the old-fashioned Vermont way over glowing corn cob embers, aged Vermont cheeses selected from Vermont’s finest creameries, and the freshest crops of Pure Vermont Maple Syrup to name a few….
In 2006 the Vermont Attorney General’s office developed a “Vermont Origin Law”. Due to this law, we need to let you know that the following private label Dakin Farm products are not made in Vermont:

Cob Smoked Pork Products:
Our pork comes from the finest sources in North America. We then use Vermont recipes to cure the meat with maple syrup and we smoke the meat here on the farm using our original 1800’s recipes; which call for a natural smoke over glowing corn cob embers.
All other Dakin Farm private label products originate in Vermont unless otherwise stated.
