Picnic Party

As this was marketed as a gift, I was surprised to see that the contents of this picnic party came loose in a carton. I expected easy gift giving... now I have to go out and find a basket or tub of an appropriate size (content too heavy for a gift bag. I know the products themselves will be first rate, just frustrated to have to go shopping the weekend before Christmas. Maybe make this more clear on the product page? Thanks

This is a nice sampling of a few different Dakin products. The ham is lean, the two kinds of sausages are both good and different from each other. The cheese was so good, I barely got enough of it as my husband gobbled it up pretty quickly.

[...] Everything arrived cold.The ham was delicious, not too salty. Also, the pepperoni had the same results. The only thing I was disappointed with was the block of cheese. The flavor was good, but it crumbled when cut. I was going to slice it for cheese & crackers and I couldn't do that. So, I used it in baked macaroni & cheese. Haven't had a chance to try the syrup.The ribs were delicious! Feel off the bone. We put them on the grill to heat up. Will order again.

Took the cheese & sausages to a get-together & everyone liked them , said the tastes were very good .
