Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I have never been a ham lover but decided to take a chance on this product and absolutely love it! Not salty, moist and very flavorful. Even my husband loves the ham and he has never been overly fond of ham either.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
We have not purchased a ham from Dakin for several years and did so for a special meal with friends. The boneless half ham had it's usual great flavor, but with a much higher content of tougher gristle than I've ever experienced before. It was not especially well received by our guests, whom we had talked it up to. The bacon portion of our order was up to it's usual excellence and saved face the following morning.We will probably try a ham again, but not with guests, since we hope we just got a 'bad apple'.
